What moves the price

Size: The single biggest one.A wall-width board is not a queen board with more cloth — the frame has to be built differently to stay flat.
Material: Cloth is charged by the metre, and a figured or imported cloth can cost several times a plain one.Leather is priced by the hide and by how many the board needs.
The face: Buttoning and panelling are hours of hand work, not a finish applied at the end.
Fixing: Wall-hung needs a cleat made and set true.Floor-standing needs legs made to your floor.
