Every joint that has let go comes apart and glues up under cramps. Drop into it and nothing creaks or shifts.
Reupholstery · restoration
New webbing, new springs, new foam, and the cloth you picked. The frame you already love, firm underneath and finally the colour you wanted.
01 — What we do
Three layers go back in, in this order. Cheat the bottom one and you feel it by winter.
Every joint that has let go comes apart and glues up under cramps. Drop into it and nothing creaks or shifts.
Webbing, springs and foam come out and go back new. A fresh pad laid over a collapsed one just collapses again.
Cut to your piece off your own old cover. The pattern lands centred on the back and runs unbroken across every seam.
02 — Straight answers
Send the photo and you get one of these three, in plain words, before anything is cut.
Almost always
Hardwood, cut joints, good lines. A loose frame and a tired cover are ordinary work with an end you can picture.
Ask us first
Stapled softwood, or a piece patched three times already. If you love it, say so — that changes the answer.
The honest no
No sound timber left to hold a screw. We would rather lose the job than sell you a repair that fails.
What moves the figure
What the frame needs, how much of the inside is replaced, and how much cloth a big repeat eats to match across a seam. You get it in writing, before anything is cut. Price bands to be confirmed
03 — Character
Botanical print. Hydrangea blue. Cartoon cloth on a child’s chair. A sound frame carries all of it — so skip the safe beige.
04 — What to send
Pull it clear of the wall, stand back, square to the front.
The bald arm, the split rail, the seat you sink into. Close enough to fill the frame.
Tip it gently onto something soft. Webbing, blocks and old repairs all show down there.
Please do not tidy or cover the piece before you photograph it. The worn patches are the part that tells us what needs doing.
Daylight, not flash. Your phone is fine.
One photo and a line about what bothers you. You get a straight answer back, including when the answer is no.
