The chevron is stitched, not printed: the lines are marked from the centre out so the two halves meet properly down the middle.
It is the one face where a millimetre of drift at the bottom is a centimetre of wrong at the top, so it gets set out twice before anything is sewn.
Blue velvet with a short pile, which keeps the stitch lines crisp.
